HI
It has been a long time since i last wrote on this blog.
I was unwell and been going to hospital often.
I found it interesting that the local hospital where i go to has lot of funny things happening regarding hospital admisntration , patients etc.,
first , they want feedback from patient not wanting to know if the patient can give gfeedback.patients are stressed about their disease and where can they give feedback?
patients are like cases not human beings...
second the hospital is depended on software only and what ever is inthe software only is followed.people cannot use their experience and wisdom to improve upon the processes
third the rooms in the hospital are available and vacant but in patients are told that rooms are full.they seem to be running it like a hotel not hospital..
fourth there seems to be clash of interest and like who is powerful between infrastructure and adminstration and the medical team of doctors, nurses etc.,
very funny !!
but this must be happening in some other places also.

Can a friend work for you ?
I am writing in this blog after a long gap..
welcome everybody and good evening!
Last 2-3 weeks I have faced a problem at work and personal life also..
I have asked one of my friends to work for me as I was in need and I also thought she was in need...
The terms and conditions were orally discussed and agreed upon..
Since I have a homeoffice, she came to live with me and
After 2-3 weeks , I found that her terms have changed and she wanted to work but she never thought it to be as employment.
She has seen it as "friends are helping each other" and she was offended about me just asking if she is planning to take leave for 3 weeks the coming month..
Where as I have seen this understanding between us as very professional..that I have a commitment towards her for paying her for the service she delivers to me.It is a mutual commitment.
This is a classic case of "working with affliation" and "working with professionalism."
In affliation mode, terms can change , people tend to go by feelings and work happens as per convinience.
For a professional, work is seen as a commitment to be completed and fulfilled.
work is taken seriously and time and effort that goes into work is accounted for..

hello!!
recently one of my friends came to me asking about a problem she faced at office.
of late she is making lots of mistakes in her work and not able to make out that she is doing them.
Her boss was getting upset about it and was very unhappy at her work.
She was worried about his behaviour. She was worried how this would affect her job.
I have asked her if she is making a 'mistake' known to her or not knowing.
If she is not able to make out that she did a mistake, then she should learn more about the work and the mistake she did, and not repeat the mistake.
If she knows the work and is still making a mistake in the work, then she needs to have presence of mind at job.
If a known mistake is made , then it amounts to - being careless at work.
The next day my friend visited me, she was very happy and beaming.
When I asked her about what happened in office , she said that her boss is not unhappy with her.
She on her own started to check and recheck before submitting the work.
This has helped her in identifying a lot of mistakes and correcting them before showing to boss.
This " self review" process she initiated shows that she is now more 'responsible' taking "ownership" of her work and also seen as 'initiative taking' person..
these are some of the basic qualities to taking charge of life and starting to 'lead'....
